Chuango Wireless Photoelectric Smoke Detector SMK-205

The Chuango SMK-205 wireless photoelectric smoke detector will provide you with excellent protection and coverage throughout your home or office. The SMK-205 operates like a normal smoke detector and will start beeping if smoke is detected, but in addition, it will notify your Chuango wireless alarm system which will then trigger the alarm and notify your mobile phone.

Smoke detectors are programmed to the 24 hour zone which means they are always active and working regardless of whether or not your alarm is armed or disarmed. The SKM-205 is a photoelectric smoke detector with a 10 year battery. It has a test button that also works as a hush button in case of a false alarm.

How to connect the smoke alarm to the hub?

1. Put the hub into the accessory-pairing mode according to the hub's user manual.
2. Press and hold the test button on the smoke detector until a beep is heard which indicates successful pairing.  Please note that the test button is the button on the front of the smoke alarm near the LED light and not the button on the back.
