Queensland NLIS Tags & eID

The Queensland Government Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) requirements mean that you need to have an "Application for Permanent NLIS Devices" form to order NLIS ear tags in Queensland.   Such a document is not required in other states or territories.

• For Leader NLIS tags, you can provide the order number from the document to us when ordering ear tags online, or you can reply to your order confirmation email with a copy of the document.
• For Fofia or Stockbrands NLIS tags, please reply to your order confirmation email with a copy of the document.

There are three ways to get this document:

1. ONLINE - INSTANT DOWNLOAD
If you have login details to the Queensland Government DAF Biosecurity Entity Registration Portal, you can usually instantly get this ready to go pre-authorised document by downloading it once you are logged in. 2. FROM A REGIONAL DAF OFFICE OR OVER THE PHONE:
You can get the authority document by calling DAF on 132523 or from a regional DAF office (Boonah, Bundaberg, Cairns, Charleville, Charters Towers, Cloncurry, Dalby, Emerald, Gayndah, Goondiwindi, Gympie, Kingaroy Research Station, Longreach, Mackay, Mareeba, Maryborough, Nambour, Rockhampton, Roma, Toowoomba, Townsville or Warwick). 3. WE CAN GET IT FOR YOU
We can apply for an Authority document on your behalf. Please ensure your RBE is renewed with BioSecurity QLD.  Please note that this will add on a few days to your order so it's better that you get it yourself if you are in a rush.
