The R.A.P.T 1400 (Rapid Access Pro Trainer) is the first system featuring a curved transmitter especially designed for “hands-free” use, perfect if you need to train on the move or are wearing gloves while hunting. The compact waterproof handset with patented “Suregrip” strap holds securely in multiple grip positions, while the patented “Rapid Access” button is positioned for quick corrections and can be programmed for static correction or vibration (excellent for deaf dogs). And as an added bonus should you take an unexpected dunking, the transmitter floats! The waterproof collar is lightweight but sturdy, and obtains an excellent FM signal range thanks to DT Systems MAXX-Range 360™ Antenna built right in to the collar strap.

Tip:
To get the best life out of your training collar:
- Keep the collar clean where you plug the charger in; grit and salt can cause rust to form on the charging pin and prevent the charger from giving the collar a full charge.
- Rinse the collar after it’s been immersed in salt water and dry thoroughly, especially where you plug the charger in.
- Get the maximum life from your collar battery by giving it a charge once a month, even if you aren’t using it.
