The OMNIKEY 5427CK Reader supports both low and high frequency credentials and can be operated using NFC allowing customers to leverage their mobile access credentials to access computer, network or cloud by using their mobile phone. It leverages Secure Identity Object™ (SIO) to offer solutions that are secure, tech-independent and flexible, thus making it ideal for mixed technology environments.

Dual Frequency - Simultaneously supports low and high frequency credentials, including Seos®, HID Prox®, iCLASS SE®, MIFARE® Classic®, MIFARE Plus®, MIFARE Ultralight® and MIFARE DESFire® EV1, EV2 as well as NFC.
Multilayered security - Additional protection for identity data — more than what a regular card offers — via Seos and iCLASS SE platforms.
Ease of use - Be it for PC log-in or using key strokes via the keyboard wedge.
Keyboard wedge functionality - Data is retrieved from the card and directly fed into an application.
