The Portasol MK3 debudder is the latest Portasol model and has been upgraded in many ways compared to the previous model. This is a completely new tool, made much stronger and more durable, and with improved heat retaining properties. The superior heat retaining properties enables the farmer to dehorn with greater speed and ease. Ignition is improved with a new Piezo starter, and there is also the very valuable option of manual lighting when required. The jet can be removed and serviced by the user. This new tool is a top quality debudder that should last many years of use. 

The debudder / dehorner III comes with a 15mm tip as standard. This is suitable for goats, sheep and some calves. We also sell the slightly larger 18.5mm tip which may be more suitable for slightly older calves or certain breeds with larger buds. Please click here to view.

 The debudder uses butane lighter fuel and can easily be filled or refilled using quality butane gas lighter refill cans which are used for refilling cigarette lighters. Click here to view butane refill cans on our website or alternatively, you can purchase refill cans from hardware or cigarette stores. 45 minute run time per average fill. 10 seconds to refill. A gas refill can can refill the device several times.
