The Allflex APR650 Handheld eID & Barcode Reader combines an advanced electronic identification (eID) reader with a high-performance barcode scanner, offering fast, reliable scanning for livestock ear tags, pet microchips (HDX and FDX-B), and related barcodes on items like tissue sampling units or medication bottles. With a memory capacity for up to 1 million records, the APR650 supports full animal event management, enabling efficient tracking and data storage. It offers excellent reading ranges for HDX and FDX-B tags and integrates barcode reading, making it easy to link eID data with tissue sampling and medication records. The full alphanumeric keyboard allows users to input and manage data directly, while the large, backlit, color display ensures visibility in all conditions. The device’s offline database stores historical data for up to 100,000 animals, providing convenient access in the field, with export options to Excel or management software.

Multiple connectivity options include WLAN, Bluetooth, and USB interfaces, enabling seamless data transmission and charging via a magnetic plug. The reader supports bi-directional communication with iPhone and Android apps, enhancing real-time data management through online mode.
