RF IDeas IP67 Mounting Kit KT-IP67 for RFIDeas pcProx / WAVE ID Surface Mount Reader

Easily and securely mount your RF IDeas pcProx or WAVE ID Surface Mount Reader with the RF IDeas IP67 Mounting Kit (KT-IP67). This convenient kit ensures a stable and reliable installation for your RF IDeas device. Please note that the Surface Mount Reader is intended for indoor use and is not suitable for outdoor applications. However, when installed following the provided guidelines, it complies with IP67 standards, ensuring its durability and performance in indoor environments.

Installation

1. Begin by inserting the 2 screws into the reader as shown in the provided picture.
2. Thread these 2 screws through the gasket, ensuring a tight seal.
3. Next, insert the cable into the back of the reader, connecting it securely.
4. Mount the reader with the LED facing upwards and attach it firmly to the weatherproof box.
5. It's crucial to tighten the 2 screws to the weatherproof box with a torque force of 60 in/oz. This specific torque ensures a proper seal. Failure to adhere to these recommended guidelines may permit moisture to enter the weatherproof box, potentially damaging the unit and voiding the warranty.
