MIFARE Classic / NTAG215 Card Reader

This Mifare card reader is a plug and play device which simply plugs into a USB port of Windows, Linux & Mac operating systems. The affordable scanner reads the unique Mifare serial number, often referred to as the UID or CSN, of ISO/IEC 14443 cards such as Mifare Classic 1K S50, Mifare Classic 4K S70, NTAG215, Mifare Plus cards, and DESFire cards, keyfobs, wristbands and Mifare adhesive disks. It is very popular with card printing solutions in offices and schools including with Compass Education smart cards. Apart from standard Mifare tags, it also reads cards and fobs from Samsung digital door locks and Bosch Solution 6000.

The reader features keyboard emulation and will output the serial number just as if you typed it on a keyboard. When it reads data, it “types” the scanned value into whatever application is active (e.g., Excel, Notepad, POS software, etc.) and no need to hit enter or press any buttons. This ensures compatibility with most software applications.

Please note: For the Adjustable option, the software used to change the output format is only available for Windows at this stage.
